Welcoming place, excellent location
We felt ever so welcome here because of excellent host Oscar and the location could not have been better, right round the corner of every facility!
The rooms are of normal size, basic and very clean, shower worked perfectly, good space for clothes etc. Maybe the pillows are a bit too soft. We'll see you next year!!

Nice family hotel with a combination of rooms and appartmens
In this family hotel you can stay with multiple friends in an appartment or stay with your partner in a nice rooms. Either way, you will feel comfortable in Gidis Hof.
In the appartment you can choose for the bread service. Every morning you have fresh Kaiser (or other) breads hanging on your door.
The location of Gidis Hof is super! You walk 3 minutes from the ski room to the entrance of the Silvrettabahn, to go up the mountains. When you come back, you'll even walk 1 minute!
The same goes for the après ski. You'll only need 3 minutes to be in the Kuhstall, The Heksenküche of the Fire and Ice Bar.
The bathroom in the rooms are spacious and have all the basic needs.
We will go back!

Lovely stay
Very nice and lovely hospitality.
Great view from the room and balcony, very close to the ski lift, mpreis supermarket and the bus station! And of course the main street, also close is the ice skating rink.
Breakfast is pretty good, please add vegetables.
Price is one of the lower and more sane I found in Ischgl, most hotels are very expensive.
You also get a guest card in the reception which gives you discount on the ski pass.
Room cleaning during the breakfast was very fast!
One thing missing is a sauna)
But still I enjoyed the stay!

Excellent location
We stayed in the Gidis Hof in Jan 2014. The hotel has an excellent location right next to the Silvrettabahn; it is only around a 50 metre walk up the steps to the gondola. There are covered parking facilities across the main road, which was great as we had driven from the UK. Our room was exceptionally clean with a balcony overlooking the Silvrettabahn. The hotel's owners were very friendly and the breakfast was ample to fuel a days skiing! This is by no means the most luxurious place in Ischgl, but will provide you with a pleasant stay and a fantastic location. Overall, we'd definitely go back to the Gidis Hof.

Preis - Value passt nicht ganz
Ursprüngliches Haus direkt neben der Seilbahn, also allerbeste Lage
Traditionelles Zimmer mit Bad, alles braucht dringend eine Renovierung, besonders das Bad, da sollte man nicht zu sehr auf Fugen etc schauen
Knarrendes Bett, lichtdurchlässiger Vorhang
Basic Frühstück , mit Rührei und Müsli, aber halt irgendwie niedriger Standard
Skikeller mit Schuhheizung direkt im EG
Free WLAN, recht schnell
Sauber insgesamt, da kann man sein aber es ist für ischgl eher niedriger Standard . Andere Häuser bieten deutlich mehr fürs Geld
Es war eines der günstigsten Übernachtungszimmern in Ischgl, dafür gibt es aber auch nicht so viel
