Amazing Piece of Heaven
Stayed at family farm Ringlerhof with my wife and sister-in-law while traveling through Austria. What a gorgeous piece of heaven! Your hosts Engelbert and Gelinda Moosbrugger, their young son, and hunting dog “Gundl” are simply delightful!! We had the 4-person apartment on the top floor. That arrangement does not have breakfast included, but it has a fully and beautifully equipped kitchen for guests to take care of themselves. What a great place to use as a home base for day trips to local attractions. If visiting this area one of best attractions I have ever seen as a world traveler is the Eisriesenwelt, or the ice caves at Werfen, Austria. Simply unbelievable! That said, if you are sedentary and woefully out of shape, climbing the 700 steps and 300meters into and out of the ice caves will probably kill you. However, if a quiet but delightful stay at a 200 year old small family farm, very kid friendly, is your goal, then the Ringlerhof just can’t be beat!!
