Great stay

Despite the fact that reception and restaurant were closedb due to official rest day/holiday in Germany, it was no problem to reach the room. Through a code and a key box, I was in the room within 2 minutes. Comfortable chair, table, hair dryer, safety deposit box: everything provided. Tea and coffee as well as a limited bar, was present in a general area. Quality of the bed was fine with a lovely duvet. The next morning can enjoy a good breakfast with fresh bread. Overall, a fine stay at a very reasonable price. Hotel has a number of private parking spaces. City center a few minutes walk away

Nice and elegant

This is the best hotel we have stayed at in Germany - best because absolutely everything was nice. Free parking, top restaurant with the best steak we have tasted, super breakfast included, nice service, clean and proper all over, junior suite at a very advantageous price (1700 kr), short distance to all the pedestrian streets of this town with 38,000 inhabitants. The only downside is that many Germans close restaurants and shops to go on holiday when everyone else comes to visit.

A reputable address

The Münsterländer Hof is the number one address in Cloppenburg, a dignified, clean hotel with a very good breakfast and extremely friendly service. The hotel is easy to get to, there are free parking spaces right in front of the entrance.
The menu in the attached restaurant is varied and the food is pretty decent. The wine list is OK.
All in all, a good address for an overnight stay when passing through or on a business trip.

Fabulous friendly hotel

Loved everything about this hotel. The welcome was friendly and the staff went over and above to make sure we has a wonderful stay. Breakfast was a feast ...local eggs and bacon cooked to perfection, huge choice of breads, juices etc. If you want to stay in Cloppenberg ...then this gem of a hotel will make sure you are well looked after.

A lovely hotel

We arrived to a very warm and friendly welcome, greeted by a member of staff who spoke excellent English. She showed us to our room, which was also a nice touch. Shortly afterwards we discovered that our lovely room (and equally lovely bathroom) had only been made up for one person - after telephoning reception the aforementioned member of staff was soon back in our room, very apologetic, rectifying this - good service once a problem was identified.
The free WiFi was very good.
We had wanted to eat in the restaurant here, but as this was fully booked we headed off for the short walk into town, where there are lots of restaurants.
The breakfast buffet was excellent - good quality and an extensive choice of food.
All in all a lovely hotel.
