Positively surprised.

This campground is recommended. For a year now, the new operator has been improving and renewing this site. The sites are separated by hedges. We did not hear the highway.
The available sanitary facilities are clean, and almost all shower rooms have a toilet included, and they are very spacious. Another restroom facility is currently being built.
You can pre-order rolls until 6:00 PM. The restaurant Auszeit is open and offers both coffee and cake as well as hot meals. The kitchen is open until 9:00 PM.
All in all, we were not here for the last time.

Nice campsite but restaurant not recommended

Nice campsite for an overnight stay in transit. Good clean sanitary facilities and, if you come with children, a nice swimming pool. Unfortunately, dinner at the campsite was a disaster. Wrong order, very long wait, poor service and after 2.5 hours it turned out that they could not handle delivering dessert (several people around us had already left disappointed). Can happen but then solve it better, for example with a round of coffee from the company. Unfortunately, we even had drinks from others as an extra on the receipt.

Small stopover site with a new owner

Lovely little stopover, with an sxcellent onsite restaurant. Camp has its own pool and the new owner who has only had it for a year is making real progress with updating the site with building a second new sanitary building. It is at the end of a quiet road but well worth a visit lovely quiet site. Pitches marked out with electricity, own water and free WiFi. The showers are not times or coin operated.

Promising future?

A nice spacious campsite that is ideal for people passing through. Therefore, the environment does not know much to say. It seems nice for hiking and is quite green.
Check-in takes place via a digital system that also controls the power, hot water and tags.
We were there with a malfunction of the computer that shows the vulnerability of such a central system. Too bad for the enthusiastic new owner who is extremely friendly and tries very hard. He’s been ‘in charge’ for just 3 weeks and has good ideas and wants to make something beautiful out of it.
That certainly needs time with the various old buildings and the restaurant that has been closed for years. It still looks like faded glory too quickly, but I saw change after only 2 weeks.
There is already a great swimming pool, play area and a nice new sanitary building. The reception has also been realized with a small shop.
The potential and the basis seem fine for a bright future.
