Wonderful holiday apartment
Lovely and well equipped small house. Fantastic view over the village of Volissos and surrounding countryside.
Extremely comfortable and very clean. We stayed for 5 nights and the apartment was cleaned twice.
Ms Keti who welcomed us was super friendly and extremely welcoming, and Dimitrios, the owner, always available via email and phone.
A great place to stay for exploring the northern part of Chios. We did not have a car and love walking, so the place was perfect. Several beaches are within 30-45min walking distance and after dinner in Volissos it's a nice hike up to the apartment.

AMAZING!!!
In the north side of Chios Island in Greece, there is a traditional village of Volissos.
Just below the medieval castle, there are few stone private rooms, fully and carefully renewed, following also and respecting the surrounding environment named
.
Indeed these old stoned homes, are having enough space for easy staying with all necessary facilities (including laundry and dryer!!!!)
Most of the houses are coming with balcony of explanatory view of sea, are quite even through the day and pointing in a walking distance of village center, where you can find several tasteful and enjoyable taverns.
All beaches around, were the best we found of the island.
Excellent hospitality from a friendly owner, who was trying always for our best.
Great Feeling, Great Vacations !!!!
We will be back again.
It’s also important to notice, that we spend 2 weeks moving in the island of Chios and we didn’t meet any immigrants!!!
As always news are mostly exaggerate.

traditional village houses
we stayed in a separate house, located in the top of a hill with a stunning view of he sea (it's not within a walking distance though). the house was part of a group of houses, very close to the village square and an ancient castle. the house was decorated with wood and stone, giving an impression of living in medieval ages. the breakfasts were perfectly fresh and rich.

Alcune manchevolezze
Abbiamo avuto un piccolo appartamento con terrazzino e vista sul mare come avevamo scelto e del resto pagato. L'ambiente era gradevole, arredato con gusto ma ci sono state alcune carenze che ci hanno sorpreso. Non sono state fatte le pulizie per tutti i 3 giorni della nostra permanenza, incluso lo svuotamento della pattumiera e cestini e questo non era indicato sul sito, come del resto non vi era collegamento wifi, pare non funzionasse.....
Abbiamo fatto richiesta del phon che ci è stato portato.
Insomma è bello soggiornare nel paesino di Volissos ma per 85 E al giorno senza colazione, la soluzione risulta un pò cara e carente.
