View over the Okavango to Angola
Great lodge, our house with luck on the Okavango had 2 floors, downstairs a double bed, upstairs 4 single beds, all equipped with mosquito repellent.
Breakfast and dinner with delicious buffet. For the sundowner we could still sit outside, then we changed to the interiors of the restaurant due to the mosquitoes.
On a boat tour we could see crocodiles and four water birds, but also people crossing the Okavango and thus the border of Angola.

Very nice facility and great service
The facility is very nice. We had a view from the terrace of the river. The food was super delicious. Due to abundant rain in Angola, the river had high water levels. Getting to the lodge was only possible by boat. Everything was perfectly organized.

Great location and Staff
An Interesting location with very friendly staff. Rooms were very comfortable, we felt that we could have stayed here a bit longer. The whole lodge had a very relaxed vibe about it. The one thing that could be improved and this is not the staff's fault was the one or two guests who insisted on smoking wherever they felt like. Staff did ask them to move to the designated smoking area to which the woman said " i'm a paying guest and I will smoke where i like". Staff just walked away whilst our party that had one person with only one lung had to relocate away from them despite sitting in the non smoking area.

Wonderful lodge on the Okavango
Staying in your wonderful lodge was a Real pleasure. We had 2 nights there right on the Okavango. Listening to the birds and all the Sounds coming acrossthe river from Angola was a wonderful experience. The accommodation was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The chief Cook prepared excellent buffet style dinner.

Never again. Beware of overbooking
After a five-hour drive from Etosha Park, we arrived at the lodge. We had booked the room months ago and had already paid for it. When we checked in, we were told that they were overbooked and didn't have a room for us. But no one was really interested. They just shrugged their shoulders. We were sent to another lodge 40 minutes away, which was of a much worse standard. What we were able to see of the lodge looked nice. Hence two stars. In the alternative lodge, we met other guests who had the same experience. Overbooking is apparently the business model. It really spoiled our vacation.
