The Best!!
Hotel Iris Arad impresses with excellent services, superior comfort and ideal location. It is close to the highway in a quiet area close to the city center, varied breakfast and very good coffee. I recommend Hotel Iris Arad………………………………..

Decent, but lot of problems
I stayed here for 10 nights, during a big project i hosted in Arad. We got on demand a decent big double room after 2 nights spent in a single (with a small-double bed) room. Bad internet connection. In the weekends, the restaurant hosts weddings and other events, so it is very loud (especially if you get a room on top of restaurant) until 4 am. The shower is very poor, water has no pressure. Bad attitude of the employees, they seem bored or sleepy. Poor breakfast. Bad impression. Recommend it for 1-2 nights, if business travel. Otherwise not at all!

Comfortable place in Arad
My room was quite spacious. Bathroom was clean. This hotel has a summer terrace outside. Paid dinner was great but breakfast was very simple. There were free places for parking right in front of the Hotel in the evening. Free WiFi.

Nice and cheap hotel in Arad
This hotel provided a nice and cheap stay in Arad. Due to meetings in the city centre I had to take a cab, which fortunately was very cheap too. The room was large (with four beds even though I paid for a single room), clean and quite silent. The breakfast was simple, but tasted good. Good value for money!

You get what you pay for, not quite a 3* hotel
The double room is spacious enough to fit two baby cribs and the walls are sufficiently insulated to offer a quiet stay. However, the door and windows do not provide adequate sound proofing so you'll be able to hear hallway chatter and passers by will be able to hear you. Ongoing traffic is audible (although not disturbingly loud) while the dusty curtains fail to fully cover the width of the windows letting in the light from the street lamps.
The shower drain was clogged and broken so water would fill the shower tray and also leak outside from underneath. The smoke detector in the room still had the protective plastic cover on.
The breakfast selection is terrible so unless you have an urge for a boiled egg or a coffee, you can safely skip it. Besides, the restaurant staff had more of a decorative purpose than anything else. Speaking of personnel, the night shift reception staff would smoke right in front of the main entrance.
Outside the building, parking is far from private as it's between the walkway and the street and inside the building you will find there are no ramps and no elevator so be prepared to carry your bags.
If you find yourself in a hurry and on a budget, you get decent accommodation, close to the highway, for a relatively cheep price so it might be a good deal for a stop over.
