Classy little hostal
While walking El Camino de Santiago, my wife and I stayed in Pons Minea for two nights. It was a fantastic idea as we were wet, hungry and tired...! All three issues were taken care of at this friendly hostel.
We did not stay at the dorms but had a private room and washroom, we splurged and it was worth every penny of it. The room was comfortable, super clean and cozy. The bathroom had plenty of hot water.
They have a restaurant that serves home cooked and very good wine! Also, washer/dryers are available in the basement.
All in all, a great place to stay one or two nights while you do the Camino.

If you want to rest, this is not the place
⚠️⚠️⚠️ROOM NOT SUITABLE FOR RESTING⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
We booked a room with a private bathroom, these are under the restaurant and kitchen of the same, impossible to rest. According to them, they offer rest without noise from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, until 12:00 they were moving tables and making noise.
About the room, a lot of humidity, broken shower screen, and little bugs in the sheets… good thing I saw them when we were already leaving. All that for a price of €75, the most expensive room I have paid for on the Camino

Little seriousness and zero trust
Not very serious in their dealings; I work with groups, you agree on one thing and then it turns out to be another, and on top of that, they try to make you look like a liar. I work with groups and this will be a banned place. Not serious people. These are the kinds of places that, because they have people, they do not take care of them, but time will tell.

DO NOT COME TO PONS MINEA.
Of course, it is better to avoid it. We just completed the first stage of the Camino. We came to rest for a while. Impossible.
There is no TV, it doesn't work, to distract you for a while. You cannot sleep because the rooms are right below the cafeteria/dining area: noises from tables and chairs dragging, plates and cutlery, and voices. There are two of us and they gave us a room for six... well, this only highlights the emptiness of the stay. The beds are very bad... I am afraid of the night, the blanket has a stain, it is already disgusting... and, on top of that... it has been the most expensive on the Camino!

Do not stay here
The rooms are situated just under the restaurant and the hallway is open. So the suffling of the chairs, the guests talking are very annoying and loud. Cleaning up of the restaurant was until 1 after midnight. The doors of the guestrooms are not insulated and smacked by loudy inrespectable guests. It is impossible to have a good rest here. Slept only a couple of hours. SO DO YOUSELF A FAVOUR WALK A BIT FURTHER IN THE CITY WERE THERE ARE PLENTY ALBERGUES. AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP GOOD.
