Irish Heaven in the central west
Jack is back in town with Irish food, Irish play list, Guiness, and lots of bands playing later in the week. New owners determined to win back lost customers, and they are trying very hard. Lots of room many locals drifting back to sample the beer.

Just ok.
Busy pub with lots of tables. Food was not cheap and took a while to come out even though we ordered very early. Serves were fairly small, I paid $30 for some lamb stew. It come out in a soup bowl and was half full. All our food was cold as it sat there for ages under the warming light, because the line was very long taking food orders and they had the same poor guy serving and running food. I went for a drink and there were 2 people in the line ahead of me. I waited for ages the bar guys just kept walking off around the other side of the bar taking ages to come back. Would we go here again, no next time we will find somewhere else.

Very ordinary accommodation
The room was seriously in need of refurbishment.
It was tiny with no space. The door skimmed the bed when opened. No bar fridge in room.
Couldn’t make a cuppa in the morning-no milk in the little kitchenette.
However the room had a fresh smell when initially entered and the bathroom was clean.
Would not stay again.

Good for tucker. Okay for a sleepover.
At $79 a night, the place was pretty good value. The bed was okay. The array of TV channels offered was better than most places. The food, I gather by eating there, is what people go for.
The only two points I can pick up on were the facts that
1) no towel to have a shower; and
2) although there’s a sign saying spare toilet paper in the vanity, there was none! (Lucky I wasn’t caught short).

Best food in a long time
I saw Jack Duggans Irish pub on trip advisor and suggested to the family to go.
The service was so friendly and nothing was a hassle.
It is my grandmas birthday and they adjusted a meal for her to what suits her without any problems. First look you see the prices but it’s worth every penny. The food is big and perfect. The meat fell apart.
Highly recommend and would come back again!
