Nice service personal and calm place. Unfortunately no dinner served that day. But nearby supermarket offers good food.

Go far beyond this place
Terrible place, worn out and with a receptionist who was all but welcoming

Pro’s: Bed was reasonable. Room was a comfortable size, there was an on suite bathroom. Nice enough breakfast.
Con’s: Terrible, strange rude women at reception every day and night. Correction, she was never at reception but in a room behind with a dart board etc where you had to call to her to come to reception to do her job which she clearly didn’t want to do.
Rude in her speaking to us, irritated that we had German passports but spoke English. Weirdly ending sentences halfway through with eyes strangely rolling. She didn’t even open the passports to check if we are who we say we are. I’ve never seen that before at a hotel. In the morning coming to clean our table with a wet cloth but cleaning only half the table half heartedly doing half her job as usual.
Pools outside all dark brown with fungi growing in them. Broken football goal fallen over with the net twisted around the top post also in full view of the breakfrast area outside as is the pool.
Bathroom, ours had a glass shelf half inside a metal frame slanting at 30 degrees towards us and with a glass hand soap dispenser teetering on the edge. I had to take it down to the basin for fear of it falling and what if the loose glass shelf fell on my foot.
Weird basin and shower combination tap with a long pipe to the basin and a switch to change between the shower and the basin.
Once we had showered a terrible smell came up from the shower drain which filled the whole hotel room making us barely able to breath.

Bad.
It was total failure and dirty,and worn out. No contact with holte people, no dinner. Dry and bad breakfast. Presented on a board from 07:00. I come first for breakfast at 9:00

Charming inn
Had two nights at Bredebro inn in connection with a family event. We had booked two rooms.
Bredebro inn is a 18th century inn with everything it means: crunching floors, doors/ windows that bind and closets that cannot be closed properly and there is incredible sound. For us, it was part of the charm of the inn and we felt on the whole atmosphere that we were staying in a inn, which we were quite fond of.
Note that the inn is not handicapped friendly or too poorly walking as you have to climb some stairs to get to the rooms.
There is a supermarket two minutes walk from the inn.
The staff was incredibly nice and always available. Even though we had breakfast somewhere else (in connection with the family event), we got a can of coffee up every morning.
The rooms were clean and spacious, the beds were really fantastic and we got clean towels every day.
The reason that the inn “only” gets three stars is because of the bathroom in room 10. The shower was stuck with stripes and could not be moved on, which was a bit of a challenge as the shower cabin was small. The hammer over the sink sat so far down, so it was difficult to wash hands and just above was a small skewed shelf, also far down, so you could not have your head over the sink when you were going to get rid of your toothpaste.
It surprised us that the inn had not made it more convenient and that it was only about minimal changes to create a easier solution for guests.
Overall a satisfactory stay. We will be happy to come back if we need accommodation on those edges.
