Very good
Hotel very well located (right at the entrance of Cancale by the seaside).
Very kind reception.
Room with a sea view is very good.
Restaurant is also very good (great seafood platter).
Good breakfast.
Would do it again if we return to Cancale.

Dilapidated room, shameful.
Dilapidated room on the ground floor overlooking a narrow street. A living room as the first room, very old-fashioned, which does not make you want to linger there at all. Smell of dampness. Outdated carpet. Torn wallpaper. Nails in the walls, without frames. Wall lamp crooked and asymmetrical in relation to the bed. Holes in the bathroom door. Toilet flush with random operation. Toilet seat crooked. Toilet paper dispenser cover completely rusted. This room is located in the annex, a former neighboring hotel whose renovation has not begun or, in any case, from which our room did not benefit. It is shameful to offer a room in this condition. And it was not the last one left, since I had booked about 10 months ago. Random service; I had to ask 3 times for the cancellation of breakfast (given the state of the room, I did not want to take any risks) before it was taken into account. And call several times to verify that the toilet flushes.

Do not open this door!
Upon our arrival, the reception staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. The room turned out to be a cramped attic space, lacking the features promised at the time of booking. We reported several problems: because of the roof slope, the bed was inaccessible on one side and it was even impossible to sit on it; there was no room for our luggage — two medium-sized suitcases that we finally had to store in the bathroom. We were simply told that no other room was available. We reminded them that our booking had been made months in advance via the hiking agency Chamina and that a certain level of comfort had been guaranteed to us — a level that this room was far from reaching. The response? "You are only staying one night, after all..." In short: if you really cannot find anything else in Cancale, at least make sure you are not assigned room 19 — the only one, by the way, that does not have a name (although "The Funeral Niche" would suit it perfectly).

Pleasant stay
Decent room but not in the main hotel (in the annex) which needs a good refresh.
WIFI that is a bit slow and hot water intermittently.

Ideal base for Cancale
Small hotel very characteristic, directly on the seafront of Cancale. From the window of the sea view rooms you can admire the continuous play of the tides.
Styled rooms, restaurant with good service and possibility to have breakfast.
Very quiet.
Staff helpful and courteous.
