The perfect family vacation
We had a wonderful holiday at Anthos in Frangokastelo!
The hospitality of Mrs. Irene’s, George’s and all of the staff were truly impeccable – they took care of us all, us, our little girl, but also our little dog, Oscar.
The apartment was clean, comfortable and fully equipped with all the amenities that a family needs to stay comfortably as long as it desires. The view from the veranda was wonderful and gave us unique moments of relaxation. And something you rarely find in accommodations: a wonderful layer for a truly restful sleep! The outdoor space and reception were especially careful: playground for the little friends, cribs hanging in the olives, bicycles, inflatables for the beach, games and books to borrow. In addition, there was comfortable parking in the shade.
The location is ideal – almost on the sea. A few steps lead you straight to Orti Ammos, a beautiful beach with fine sand and shallow waters, all you need for children. Despite the high season, the beach was quiet. Just 100 meters away there is a wonderful tavern with homemade cooking at very good prices, while in 3-5 minutes by car you will find a large supermarket, oven, coffee shop, and other taverns and beaches.
We definitely want to go back! I highly recommend it to those who are looking for the ultimate holiday with tranquility, relaxation and genuine Cretan hospitality.

Cretan paradise
Ideally located in line with a magnificent 1km beach, this set of small apartments has delighted us. Garden of pomegranate and olive trees, bougainvillea and a superb view, vast azure expanse of the Libyan Sea. Breakfast very good, hearty and with some variances that allow to taste new flavors from one day to the next. Located a few steps from a tavern serving tasty Cretan cuisine and cheap. Paradise for swimmers, runners and walkers (superb gorges nearby). We stayed 6 nights and left with regret!

Excellent hôtel
Peaceful hotel to relax and to enjoy the beautiful beach just in front.
Our room itself had a comfortable large double bed with high-quality bedding. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could need. The bathroom was well-designed.
The owners have thought of every little detail, even providing a washing machine for guests’ convenience.
They are warm, welcoming, and attentive, always ready to accommodate any request. We truly wished we could have extended our stay.

Very dirty establishment
Be careful, the establishment is not very clean. Cleaning was done once a week for my three week stay. The bathroom has lifts and this is disturbing.
Owner not very friendly, cold and distant
The mattress was not very clean with stains
In short, there were a lot of concerns about cleanliness
In addition to that, he makes a lot of difference between nationalities, he has a preference for German nationalities
