Rest, tranquility and magical scenery!
We stayed 3 nights in the studio.. The hospitality of Mrs. Athena was the best!! Next to the client, she always has everything she needs and always asks with a smile and politeness!! The room is clean, the beds are comfortable! Of course we will go again soon!! you feel so comfortable and welcoming as if you were in your own home!!

Our home in paradise
5/5 This is a fabulous place to stay while in Agia Roumeli. The studios are clean and spacious and very comfortable. They are close to the beach. The hosts are very special people - very kind and thoughtful and there is a great deal on eating in their restaurant- which serves traditional Cretan cuisine: very fresh, generous servings and very tasty. This is our go to place when on the south coast

Stay longer!
I had been to Agia Roumeli previously after hiking the gorge and I decided to come back and stay a bit longer. I chose Artemis Studios online as it offered a self-catering option. I was thrilled with my studio as it had an excellent small kitchen, large living area, two balconies, good bathroom, and a delightful mezzanine bedroom with a double bed and a single. It also had a sofa bed downstairs. This is definitely a good place to stay longer and enjoy the wonderful beach and hiking of Agia Roumeli. Very handy to the beach and restaurants but quiet as well.

Perfect. Quiet. Clean. Friendly. Highly recommend.
My wife and I hiked the gorge and stayed one night in Agia Roumeli because of TripAdvisor reviews. GREAT decision. I am 58 and my wife is 55. We thoroughly enjoyed the hike, and couldn't have imagined leaving the same day as the hike. As soon as the last ferry left, the town was so quiet and the people were incredibly friendly.
Artemis Studios was terrific. Eva was very responsive and helpful before our arrival. She answered my email questions timely and was was very helpful. When we arrived, we walked to the Artemis restaurant and a young man escorted us to the hotel. He was nice and, thankfully, walked slowly as we were at the end of our rope from he hike.
At the hotel, we were met by Athena. Sweet. Smiling. Very nice.
The room was super clean. Comfortable. Just perfect.
We had a swim in the clearest water on the planet. Cool. Refreshing. Perfect after the long hot hike.
Thanks Eva and Athena for making our stay wonderful. Highly recommend.

Perfect!
One night during our 6 days hike from Loutro to Elafonisi. Very kind family, apartment comfortable. They washed our dirty clothes and everything was dry in the evening. Try their restaurant, very good !
