Great stay
Our stay was wonderful! Mrs. Anna and her husband welcomed us with warmth and hospitality, making us feel like at home. Their little gestures, such as the homemade cake and the hand-made lucus for the way back, made our stay even more special.
The property is in an excellent location, close to the sea, restaurants and cafes, while private parking was very convenient. We strongly recommend it!

A 5 star experience!
Our stay here was absolutely fantastic and exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were touched by Mrs. Anna's incredible warmth and the lovely, thoughtful little gifts she provided throughout our stay. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and offered all the necessary facilities we could have asked for, making our vacation completely comfortable and stress-free. The location is unbeatable—the beach is literally a two-minute easy walk away! Beyond the physical comforts, what truly made this a five-star experience was Mrs. Anna and her husband's lovely and loving personality and the way they made us feel genuinely welcome, like part of their family. We can't thank them enough for their hospitality. Highly, highly recommend!

Wonderful owners, excellent location, warm and welcoming.
I stayed at Anna Studio in Crete for 10 days in July 2025 and it was wonderful.
The hotel is run by Anna and her family and they’re all lovely, incredibly warm, and welcoming. Anna and her family, as well as Poppy, who works there, truly made the difference in my stay.
The hotel is very clean and the amenities are great: there’s a small kitchenette and most rooms have balconies. With mine, I also had a clothesline which was fantastic: I was able to wash some things in the sink and put them out to dry (a plus when it’s summertime in Crete). Definitely suggest opting into breakfast which Anna makes herself and is delicious, very big, and a wonderful mix of Greek and International options.
Finally, the location simply cannot be better: located half a block from the ocean and a restaurant in one direction, and half a block from the main street of Ammoudara where there are tons of restaurants and shops as well as the public bus in the other, it’s perfectly situated for whatever your interests are.
Definitely recommend Anna Studio: it is clean, offers not just hospitality but true warmth from the owners, great value, and a prime and safe location that can’t be beat. I left knowing that I would be returning to Crete again and would stay there again if possible.

A very comfortable and relaxing stay at Anna Studio
We stayed at Anna Studio for the second time and are more than satisfied. The rooms and amenities are very clean and comfortable, nice hosts, friendly, helpful, very welcoming. A perfect location to the beach, small kiosks and restaurants nearby, a bus stop to Heraklion. A big store Sklavenitis and Lidl can be reached in 8 minutes by bus (bus tickets can be bought directly at kiosks, it is cheaper than on the bus).
Anna is such a fantastic cook, we enjoyed the meals she prepares for the guests.
If it were possible to give 12 stars of 10, we would definitely do that.
