Good starting point for exploring Crete
The hotel is about 15min walk from the old town. It has a very good location as a starting point for exploring the island of Crete.
In the vicinity there is plenty of public parking if you have a rental car.
The hotel is small. The hotel team consists of three employees. They understand each other very well, which affects the atmosphere in the hotel. The guest is always greeted with a smile, it is always joked with each other, etc. I've been to LINES twice and felt very comfortable here.
My room was big. There was a small kitchenette next to the usual equipment. Here you could make yourself a tea or cook a little something. I even had a waffle iron. ;-) The bathroom was quite small though. It was sufficient for one person, but two people could no longer stay/move there.
The beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning was very quiet.
In 2024, the road in front of the hotel was rebuilt. This year (2025) it is completely finished and the construction site gone.
The hotel can be booked with breakfast or without meals. Breakfast is delivered to the room in baskets (one basket per person). I also decided for a room without meals, as you can go to the old town excellent dining (breakfast, lunch, dinner... and also in between).
Important to know: The hotel is a bit elevated. This means that an incline must be overcome. This should not be a challenge for cars and people without restrictions. People with walking disabilities may have difficulties here. The hotel itself is accessible without barriers.
My conclusion: I will certainly visit the LINES hotel for a third time. I felt very comfortable here. I therefore recommend it very much!

Very good.
New and very nice hotel inside outside. Very good service. 10-15 minutes walk from the center. And the best... his breakfast!! I highly recommend it!!

A modern hotel in a neighbourhood that's still developing, up a rather steep hill but not more than 10 minutes’ walk from the old town. Entry to the room and hotel relied on a four-digit code you had to put into a keypad, which also activated the electricity. The room was comfortable and well insulated - important during a cold snap in low season - and I very much appreciated the effort made to put together a decent low-season breakfast box, including pastries, jam, an egg and fruit, plus coffee.

Amazingly friendly welcome at reception. Beautiful clean hotel and very spacious apartment. Worth the 10 min walk from the old town as it was so quiet. Great view from the balcony would highly recommend this place.

A very stylish and heartwarming hotel. Personnel was very friendly, breakfast was amazing and the room was very clean. Extra points for the very comfy beds. I would totally recommend and we will definitely visit again.
