Lovely night in macas
This was a lovely place to stay. Being the start of rainy season, we were the only people in the hotel! The food was absolutely delicious and well cooked despite it being the start of down season. They waited on us at the jacuzzi for drinks and also brought them to the room! Tasty cocktails while dinner was on the balcony over looking the Amazon. Only sad thing was the pool and subsequent pool bar were out of action for service but we still had the jacuzzi!

MANAGE YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE
The facilities are very good and welcoming, but the customer service is disastrous or non-existent, what a disappointment. The simple fact that the amenities offered, jacuzzi, sauna, are not available, there are no towels for these services and a very despotic reception to say the least.

Modern Comfort in the Amazon
This is a pretty facility with spacious bungalows and an excellent restaurant sporting a wonderful view over the river. Check in was easy. WiFi was good. Staff was great, as was the included breakfast. What was missing was hot water and a work space in the room. I’d stay here again.

good enough
The space is nice, there is a pool, some forest around the property, nice view on the river from the restaurant. The room is spacious, there is hot water and nice herbal soaps, shampoo and conditioner, the bed is comfy. However the view form the window was just on the next cabana and it's windows. No conditioning, just as well that it was not too hot. WiFi wasn't the best, it did not reach well in all parts of room. Breakfast was good. The reception does not seem to be 24/7, in the morning / evening there was nobody to be found there. The payment with credit card did not work on first attempt, just as well that it finally did the next day, but the person in reception did not even know how to manage payment, had go go look for an expert... I'd say service could be better actually, not so sure that charging 10% tip directly to the bill is very justified here.

Excellent place to stay
We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was spacious and very comfortable - great bed! Lots of hot water and good water pressure. Everything was very clean and tidy. There is no air conditioning but the nights were cool and the windows are well screened so the room was not too hot if you left them open to catch the breeze.
The restaurant on site is very pleasant and we had an excellent breakfast every day. The menu for dinner is small but we enjoyed everything we ordered each night - nothing was ever left so I guess that says it all. The restaurant also has a fabulous view of the river.
The swimming pool is a decent size and was kept very clean. There are varying levels in the pool which is great if you have small children.
The gardens are beautiful and well kept. If you have an interest in birds, you can find many species footsteps from your front door. As well as the gardens, the hotel also has a small area of forest with a trail through it and we managed to see many birds there. Its is quite possible to spend your mornings birdwatching and your afternoons lazing by the pool without leaving the hotel grounds. At night (if this is your thing) you can walk through the gardens and spot owls and other night creatures.
The staff are very pleasant and efficient and are clearly invested in making sure you have what you need without being remotely pushy.
We enjoyed it here immensely and will certainly return if we are in the area again.
