Family stay at Casa de kihim
It was good calm stay experience at Casa de Kihim.
We had booked 3 cottages for family stay.
Rooms need some maintenance and deep cleaning.
Overall service was good.

My friends and I have visited Casa Di Kihim twice till now. Once in early 2024 and recently in late June 2026. A simple and not fancy property with cosy wooden cottages and with lots of greenery. Staff is good and helpful. But there are a few points that need to be worked upon by the owners for we came back feeling dissapointed.
The dining area needs a lot of working upon. It can be cleaner and there is an overpowering smell.
Also the food is okayish and could be more tasty. Very ordinary. The evening Kanda Bhajias were yummy but the dinner was ok and so was the breakfast. Charge more if you want but do a better job of feeding tasty food to your guests.
I was mighty upset to see the 7 or so sad looking and extremely thin with just bones sticking out of their body dogs. They are on your property then it is your duty to feed them. Show them some love and feed them at least once a day if difficult to feed twice a day. See that all the puppies and dogs are fed food. See to their sterilization and vaccination also. Do not shoo them away when they have always lived in your property. They also need love and respect. If you care for creatures other than humans your place will also be happy and successful.
I talk from experience for two years ago also your place was like this and the dogs in need of love and care and some food to eat
Hoping with these changes in the future i can suggest your place to friends and family visiting Alibag

Nice Kihim beach, just above average resort.
This resort is on Kihim beach, which is just few minutes through a corridor. The beach is very quiet, not like Alibaug, you will enjoy if you like privacy. The resort's plus and minus points are:
Pros: 1. Very near to beach. 2. Well maintained garden, swimming pool. You will stay within nature. 3. The staffs are polite 4. Food is homely and good.
Cons: 1. Lacks maintenance of rooms. We were at room no.3. The furnitures are old and weird. Wardrobe doors not closing properly, toilet door not locking, some bulbs not glowing (they changed after we complained). We expected better rooms at 5k per day.

Good big rooms n clean,too,but do not take interconnecting,even with friends.These are wooden cabins,so can be disturbing and all voices,n banging from outside can be heard

Table tennis,carrom,cycles,badminton /volley ball courts are all namesake,nothing is maintained well.Carry ur own board games,for recreation.Beach is close by,but not clean,watch out the glass pieces and rocks on the beach. Swimming pool is decent.
No water in Shower room of swimming pool though.

Good weekend place

Walking to Kihim beach takes 2 minutes. Breakfast is included. Rest of the meals have to be ordered like 3 hours in advance. Services by Ankush and Ayushi were very good and with smiles.
Downside, they do not take credit cards, very unusual in modern times.
